Kwong Chan
Kwong Chan is an Academic Specialist in Marketing at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and serves as the Executive Director of the DATA Initiative at Northeastern University. He holds a PhD from Michigan State University.
Prior to joining Northeastern University, Kwong was an Associate Director in the Telecommunication and Technology Industry Practice Group at Nielsen, and a marketing professor at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
An award-winning teacher for his innovative methods, Kwong has helped pioneer the development of analytics education at D’Amore-McKim. His research spans innovation and analytics and he has published in IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Sports Management, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, and the Journal of Advertising.
Kwong has worked with a range of companies including Samsung, Goodyear, VISA, Nike, ASUS, ACER, and General Motors.
Koen Pauwels
Koen Pauwels is Distinguished Professor at Northeastern University and founding General Director of its Digital, Analytics, Technology and Automation (DATA) Initiative. Koen’s European positions include Adjunct Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, and Visiting Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
For 4.5 years, he was Principal Research Scientist at Amazon Ads, with brand building and budget allocation recommendations reaching hundreds of thousands of advertisers. Koen received his Ph.D. from UCLA, where he was chosen Top 100 Inspirational Alumnus. After getting tenure at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, he helped build the startup Ozyegin University in Istanbul. Named a worldwide top 2% scientist, and ‘The Best Marketing Academic on the Planet,’ Koen published over 100 articles on marketing effectiveness. This research was awarded by managers (Google, WPP and Syntec), academics (Dell, Davidson, and Varadarajan) and both (Gary Lilien ISMS-MSI-EMAC Practice Prize).
Koen is the incoming editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and Associate Editor for the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Research, and the Journal of Interactive Marketing. His books include ‘Modeling Markets’; and ‘Advanced Methods for Modeling Markets’; for analysts, and ‘Break the Wall: Why and How to Democratize Digital in Your Business’, and ‘It’s Not the Size of the Data – It’s How You Use It: Smarter Marketing with Analytics and Dashboards` for managers.
Eoin Roche
Eoin Roche has worked in the software vendor space for the financial services industry for almost 20 years. He is currently Senior Vice President, Head of Product Adoption at KX. At the heart of KX
technology is kdb, the world’s fastest database for vector native, time series and real-time analytics. Kdb is used extensively in financial services to process large volumes of market, order, and execution data at speed.
In his role, Eoin manages a team that works closely with customers to ensure they are maximizing their ROI on KX products, supporting them through solution architecture, onboarding, implementation, and ongoing enablement. Eoin joined KX in 2010 and has previously held roles at the company in Engineering, Product Management, and Presales. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin.
Mojgan Lefebvre
Mojgan Lefebvre is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology & Operations Officer for Travelers.
She is responsible for the company’s technology, data, analytics, cyber security and business operations
including business resiliency, customer service, premium audit and billing across the enterprise.
Before joining Travelers in 2018, Lefebvre served as global Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Liberty
Mutual’s commercial business and held leadership positions of increasing responsibility across a variety
of other industries, including medical device company bioMérieux and strategy consulting firm Bain &
Company.
Lefebvre founded Travelers’ internal professional group EmpowHER+, focused on enhancing the careers
of women in technology and operations with the help of allies, and is the executive sponsor of the
company’s partnerships with nonprofits Girls Who Code and AnitaB.org. She was also one of the
founding members of T200, a tech peer community with a mission to foster, celebrate and advance
women’s leadership in tech.
She is a member of Unum Group’s Board of Directors, Georgia Institute of Technology President’s
Advisory Board and Boston University Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science
& Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
Lefebvre is one of Forbes’ CIO Next 50 Innovative Technology Leaders, a CIO Class of 2022 Hall of Fame
inductee and a member of the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology.
She was a 2017 Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership Award recipient and a finalist for the
2020 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology and her
MBA from Harvard Business School. Lefebvre has lived and worked in many countries and speaks French
and Farsi fluently. She lives in Boston with her husband and two college-aged daughters.

Bruno is a seasoned operator who specializes in high-growth SaaS and enterprise software. He has led product, marketing, sales and business development teams across all phases of growth, from startups to mid-size companies and Fortune 10 software leaders. Bruno brings hands-on operational hypergrowth experience and technology depth in the fields of data & analytics, machine learning and AI.
Prior to joining CapitalG, Bruno ran outbound product management at Google Cloud, where he helped grow the data and analytics business by 5X. In less than three years, Google Cloud became a top five enterprise software company adopted by 60% of the world’s largest organizations with 100,000 partners and 300% growth in large deals ($250M+).
Before working at Google Cloud, Bruno helped launch and scale four startups: Alpine Data Labs (acquired by Tibco), AppStream (acquired by Symantec), SiSense (acquired Periscope Data), and AtScale.
Bruno also served as Group VP of AI & Data Analytics at Oracle where he performed one of the fastest turnarounds in the space. He helped Microsoft grow their data analytics business to $1 billion in revenue and helped scale BusinessObjects (now SAP) through the Crystal Decisions and Acta acquisitions.
Bruno was educated in France, England, and Germany. An avid soccer player, he enjoys spending time with his active kids and wife. He enjoys standup comedy, live music, and good food–particularly when it’s related to his native country of France!

Sol studied Disruptive Strategies at Harvard, did her MBA at Pepperdine, and studied Chemistry as an undergrad at UC Berkeley and is a published author. Sol has done over 50+ keynotes, 100+ panels, and has participated in a number of podcasts in her career.
