Anthony Scriffignano, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized data scientist with experience spanning over 40 years in multiple industries and enterprise domains. Scriffignano has extensive background in advanced anomaly detection, computational linguistics and advanced inferential methods, leveraging that background as primary inventor on multiple patents worldwide. He also has extensive experience with various boards and advisory groups. Scriffignano was recognized as the U.S. Chief Data Officer of the Year 2018 by the CDO Club, the world's largest community of C-suite digital and data leaders. He is a Distinguished Fellow with The Stimson Center, a nonprofit, nonpartisan Washington, D.C. think tank that aims to enhance international peace and security through analysis and outreach.. He is a member of the OECD Network of Experts on AI working group on implementing Trustworthy AI, focused on benefiting people and planet. He has served as a commissioner for the Atlantic Council, most recently contributing to a Report on the Geopolitical Impacts of New Technologies and Data. Yakov Bart is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Thomas E. Moore Faculty Fellow at D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. He is the Co-Founder and Faculty Director of the DATA (Digital, Analytics, Technology, Automation) Initiative and a core faculty member at the Institute for Experiential AI and the NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks at Northeastern University.
Yakov has done research, teaching, and consulting throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His research examining marketing implications of new digital technologies and business models has been funded with multiple research awards and grants, presented at numerous academic and industry conferences around the globe, and published in leading marketing and management journals, Yakov has co-authored a popular digital textbook Social Media Marketing: Principles and Strategies, an interdisciplinary volume Reengineering the Sharing Economy: Design, Policy, and Regulation, published by Cambridge University Press, and a playbook on digital transformation titled Break the Wall: Why and How to Democratize Digital in Your Business, published as part of an American Marketing Association book series.

Shahidul Mannan is the chief data officer at Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH), extending and overseeing the ministry’s vision and strategies for data-driven digital transformation. Before joining BSMH, Mannan was head of data engineering and innovation at Mass General Brigham where he led the next generation data analytics architecture and platforms for MGB (formerly Partner’s Healthcare) digitization and analytics innovation. Prior to that, at Dell EMC, he served as global head of big data and analytics – leading all data assets and building next generation data lake and AI-driven analytics across the enterprise. At Altisource, he served as vice president of technology, chief data officer and was responsible for all data management, big data, business intelligence and advanced analytics, developing fintech analytics products and services.

Koen Pauwels is Distinguished Professor at Northeastern University and founding General Director of its Digital, Analytics, Technology and Automation (DATA) Initiative. Koen’s European positions include Adjunct Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, and Visiting Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
For 4.5 years, he was Principal Research Scientist at Amazon Ads, with brand building and budget allocation recommendations reaching hundreds of thousands of advertisers. Koen received his Ph.D. from UCLA, where he was chosen Top 100 Inspirational Alumnus. After getting tenure at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, he helped build the startup Ozyegin University in Istanbul. Named a worldwide top 2% scientist, and ‘The Best Marketing Academic on the Planet,’ Koen published over 100 articles on marketing effectiveness. This research was awarded by managers (Google, WPP and Syntec), academics (Dell, Davidson, and Varadarajan) and both (Gary Lilien ISMS-MSI-EMAC Practice Prize).

Kwong Chan is an Academic Specialist in Marketing at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and serves as the Executive Director of the DATA Initiative at Northeastern University. He holds a PhD from Michigan State University.
Prior to joining Northeastern University, Kwong was an Associate Director in the Telecommunication and Technology Industry Practice Group at Nielsen, and a marketing professor at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
An award-winning teacher for his innovative methods, Kwong has helped pioneer the development of analytics education at D’Amore-McKim. His research spans innovation and analytics and he has published in IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Sports Management, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, and the Journal of Advertising.
